Cedars-Sinai’s ‘Run for Her’ Puts Best Foot Forward

More than 3,500 participants took to the streets surrounding The Grove in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 16 to raise awareness about ovarian cancer and generate support for the Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer Research Institute at the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute. 

The 4th annual race raised $695,000 for ovarian cancer research

This year saw the largest number of registered participants in the event’s history.

Helen DeGrasse of Smith Barney in Beverly Hills, a Run For Her team leader, raised more than $3,050 which Smith Barney will match.

Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky kicked off the annual event.
