Raffles L’Ermitage Beverly Hills First Hotel In State To Go Green
Eco-Safe Systems USA has announced that Raffles L’Ermitage Beverly Hills is the first hotel in California to “go green” with an Eco-Safe Ozone Natural-Clean Laundry System and a Disinfection System for its food and beverage operations.
Raffles L’Ermitage has been at the forefront of hospitality innovation and modernization.
“We strongly believe in the Eco-Safe system and know it will provide our hotel guests with the highest level of cleanliness utilizing a safe and healthy, environmentally friendly methodology employing pure highly ozonated water to achieve superior results,” said Jack Naderkhani, general manager for the Mobil Five Star and AAA Five Diamond property.
Based on the success of this program, Raffles Hotels + Resorts may consider a brand-wide rollout of the Eco-Safe system.
Michael Elliot, president of Eco-Safe Systems USA, Inc., said, “Raffles L’Ermitage immediately saw the advantages in our Natural-Clean Laundry System for their guests, for the environment and for their hotel.
“Our system saves on energy, detergent, water use, labor and equipment costs, as well as greatly extending the life of linens,” Elliot said.
“The Natural-Clean system provides a long list of economic benefits as well as allowing their laundry system to go green and re-cycle their water,” Elliot said.
The Ozone Disinfection System, which kills germs and protects food using pure ozonated water, provides a new dimension to healthy food preparation, kitchen hygiene and sanitation.
The Eco-Safe System will be operational at Raffles L’Ermitage in February.
