Summer Fun At UCLA, Pepperdine And Other Prestigious Universities

‘I’ve been to this camp for 6 years now.  The counselors are amazing and the whole experience is something that I wish I could do year round. I learn more in a week at iD than I do in a year at my school.” —Spencer, Student

This summer, students can attend iD Tech Camps, a fun, educational technology program right on the campuses of UCLA, Pepperdine, Cal Lutheran, UCSD, Stanford, as well as 60 other universities nationwide.

During this weeklong, day and overnight program, ages 7-17 design Web sites with Flash®, create video games, film digital movies, learn programming, build robots and more.  With an average of six students per instructor, students receive hands-on, project-based instruction from a tech-savvy staff.  They also complete a project by the end of the week while getting first-hand exposure to a university they may consider attending.

Camps students gain a sense of empowerment, independence and self-confidence as they learn to express their creativity through new ways by using technology. Additionally, teens can elect to receive continuing education units.

• For the sports enthusiasts, there are special sports/tech hybrid programs including Surf & Tech at UC San Diego and UC Santa Cruz, as well as Sports & Tech with Stanford Athletics at Stanford.
