Cabs Investigated For Misconduct

Ever called one of the local taxicab services only to wait an hour for them to arrive?
Or maybe they picked you up and became irate to find you were paying with City Ride coupons.
Maybe you’ve even caught them taking a longer route to your house just to spike the meter or they just flat out overcharged you.
You are not alone.
Since October, there have been 20 warnings, citations or investigations filed against the City’s three cab companies, Beverly Hills Cab Co., Independent Taxi Operators Association and United Taxi.
