Greystone Park Improvements Nearly Complete
By Brenton Garen, Beverly Hills Courier
The third phase of Greystone Park grounds improvements project is expected to be completed early next month.
The only work to be carried out is the installation of replica lamp posts, which are currently being reproduced to replace several that have been damaged and removed from the driveway.
Steve Zoet, Assistant Director of Recreation and Parks, said a walk through last week revealed the project was substantially complete.
Meanwhile, Public Works staff has rebid the Greystone Mansion Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) System project and received five bids.
Sufficient funds remain within the Greystone Capital Improvement Project (CIP) account to cover the bid and contingency costs, Zoet said.
Staff will request a bid be awarded at the Feb. 3 Council meeting.
Pending approval, construction should be complete midyear.
