Suspect Who Held Up Hollywood Liquor Store, Shot Clerk Still At Large
The person who tried to hold up a Hollywood liquor store and shot a clerk Monday morning remained at large, but his victim was already back at work, police said.
The attempted robbery was reported at 8:20 a.m. in the 5100 block of Hollywood Boulevard near Winona Boulevard, said Officer Cleon Joseph of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The clerk’s wound was not serious, said Officer Karen Rayner.
He was back at work this afternoon.
The suspect ran before he could get anything, said Rayner.
He was described as a white man in his mid-20s, she added.
