Trump and Leigh Estates Sold
Donald Trump sold his 11,000-square-foot Rancho Palos Verdes home overlooking his golf course for $7.15 million, it was reported today.
The nine-bedroom Mediterranean-style home on Trump National Golf Course was built in 2010 and features an infinity pool and a bar that is a replica of the one at the clubhouse, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The buyer was not disclosed.
Trump, 65, listed the home for $12 million last year. The New Yorker splits his time in Los Angeles between his home in Beverly Hills and his work in Rancho Palos Verdes, where he has completed five houses and sold three. The golf course community has lots for 75 homes.
Linda D’Ambrosi and Sandra Callen of Keller Williams, Rancho Palos Verdes, were the listing agents. Suzanne Dyer of Prudential California Realty represented the buyer.
Separately, a Beverly Hills home once owned by “Psycho’ actress Janet Leigh for sale at $3.75 million. The 4,432-square-foot ocean-view home built in 1976 sits on hill, with more than a half-acre that include a swimming pool and tennis court.
The home sold in 2010 for $2.8 million, The Times reported.
Leigh, who died in 2004, was married to Tony Curtis and is the mother of actress Jamie Lee Curtis and Kelly Curtis. Mimi Starrett of Coldwell Banker’s Beverly Hills South office and Nancy Sill of Coldwell Banker, Malibu Colony, are the listing agents.
In Brentwood, guitar virtuoso and record producer T Bone Burnett has sold his Cape Cod-inspired home for $2.75 million, The Times reported.
The house, built in 1945 with four bedrooms, features French doors that open from the family room to the garden, and the lot contains a swimming pool and spa.
Burnett, 63, who shared an Oscar with Ryan Bingham for the song “The Weary Kind’ in the Jeff Bridges movie “Crazy Heart,’ is known for working with musicians such as Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp and Elton John. Juliette Hohnen of Teles Properties and Ann Eysenring of Partners Trust were the listing agents. Max Shapiro of Westside Estate Agency represented the buyer, according to the MLS.
