“Think Like A Man” on Top for 2nd Week in a Row
“Think Like A Man” is the most-popular movie for the second straight weekend, according to studio estimates.
The Sony/Screen Gems picture is on track for an estimated $18 million weekend, and has amassed $60.7 million in sales since it opened last weekend, according to numbers rounded up by Hollywood.com
“The Pirates! Band Of Misfits” debuted in the number two spot, with an $11.4 million haul predicted.
And “The Lucky One” slipped to third place in its second weekend of exhibition, selling $11.3 million this weekend and $39.9 million over a fortnight.
“The Hunger Games” was in fourth place, with a $11.3 million weekend gate and a six week running total of $372.5 million.
Three movies opened in the numbers five, six and seven spots: “The Five Year Engagement” (with an estimated $11.2 million take), “Safe” ($7.7 million) and “The Raven” ($7.3 million).
Rounding out the 10 most-popular movies this weekend, as estimated by the studios and collated by Hollywood.com, were “Chimpanzee” ($5.5 million), “The Three Stooges” ($5.4 million) and “The Cabin In The Woods” ($4.5 million).
