Yank Barry and Muhammad Ali, who recevied the Pontifical Hero AwardLegendary boxer and revered humanitarian, Muhammad Ali has been honored with the Pontifical Hero Award by the Stem for Life Foundation and the Pontifical Council of Culture of the Vatican.

On hand to accept the award was Ali’s close personal friend and Global Village Champions Foundation partner, Yank Barry.

“It was an honor to accept this award on behalf of one of my oldest friends,” said Barry. “There’s no one more deserving of praise than Muhammad.”
