With texting and driving recently outranking drinking and driving as the number one cause of deaths in teens, there is a great need to put a stop to the dangerous habit of texting and driving. As of October 1, the Florida ban on texting and driving will go into effect.

Offering a way to avoid texting and driving and costly tickets, Quiet Zone Drive uses noninvasive, wireless technology to essentially block texting and similar apps while driving. A small device that plugs into a car’s cigarette lighter or can be installed permanently, Quiet Zone Drive prevents smartphone users from accessing their texts once the vehicle is started. When the car is turned off, the smartphone restores full function.

Quiet Zone Drive and Quiet Zone Hush, a device for buildings, are now available on the Quiet Zone website, www.quiet-zone.com.
