SiliconBeachClearly: Kings Vs. Ducks – Where to Watch the Game Tonight

Posted Wednesday, May 14 – 8:45 a.m.

Latest breaking from SiliconBeachClearly.comTonight’s NHL Freeway Series match-up between the Los Angeles Kings and the Anaheim Ducks is do or die for the men in black. Thanks to a one-goal victory for the Quackers on Monday night, the Kings are down 2-3 in the series and must win on their home turf in order to force a seventh game on Friday. #GoKingsGo! If you can’t make the game in person, here are five hockey bars for L.A. fans.

North End Bar & Grill
This Hermosa Beach hot spot is a haven for Kings players, who have been not only been known to hang out here, but the fans are so supportive that, in tribute, it was the first place the team brought the Stanley Cup after its big win in 2012.

2626 Hermosa Ave
Hermosa Beach, CA. 90254
(310) 379-5379

Redondo Beach Cafe
From the name, you’d never know this was a serious hockey bar. Unless, of course, you came during the NHL playoffs and wanted to watching something other than hockey. Opened by a pair of brothers from Montreal, from a country where hockey more akin to a religion than a sport, it’s what they describe as a hockey-first kind of place. Other sports are fine, but don’t mess with hockey. And despite the owners’ roots, this is by and large a Kings’ bar.

1511 S Pacific Coast Hwy
Redondo Beach, CA 90277
(310) 316-1047

Hooters DTLA
The official home of the L.A. Kings Ice Crew (think of them as cheerleaders with shovels) is none other than the “delightfully tacky, yet unrefined” Owl-themed (yeah, right) institution’s branch across from the Staples Center.

1248 S Figueroa St
Los Angeles, California 90015
(213) 222-9464

Yard House
The slogan here during Kings home games ought to be “if you’re not going inside Staples Center, and you’re not going to Hooters across the street (and you really love beer), you should be here.” Indeed, the Long Beach-based chain has an impressive set up at L.A. Live.

800 W Olympic Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90015
(213) 745-9273

OC Sports Grill
L.A. fans who are invading the OC for away games are advised to seek out this sports bar in the city of Orange. Those in Kings gear will be treated to free rally towels and noisemakers. The same goes for L.A. fans based behind the Orange Curtain.

450 N State College Blvd
Orange, CA 92868
(714) 935-0300
