Beverly Hills popular Walk with the Mayor and Mayor Lili Bosse have garnered international attention, and now the AP is coming to Walk with the Mayor Monday.
Everyone is invited to join the weekly procession, where a few hundred of the City’s stakeholders join Mayor Bosse on a casual walk through the City of Beverly Hills, stopping at iconic locations and retailers along the way to say, “Hi,” and to introduce businesses to potential customers, or historic locations to the citizens.
This week, Associated Press reporters will film Walk with the Mayor, hopefully to give other Mayors across the U.S. a look at what its like to be the kind of mayor that makes herself available to the community she serves in a casual chat.
This week, the walk will be visiting Cottoniere, home of Peruvian Pima Cotton, the best the world has to offer. Walkers will also visit Liquid Nutrition, Beverly Hills’ new Juice Bar.
Walk with the Mayor is part of Mayor Lili Bosse’s “Healthy City” initiative, promoting a healthy lifestyle that includes regular exercise and a healthy economy, introducing businesses and clients.
To join in the fun, be at the Crescent Drive steps of City Hall at 8:30 a.m. with your walking gear on! That’s all.
But you better make it soon, because Mayor Bosse will be turning the reigns of the City over in March to Vice Mayor Julian Gold…!
(There will be no walk February 16, in honor of President’s Day.)
