Beverly Hills News – Beverly Hills CVB to Celebrate Chinese New Years at the Saban Tonight

Beverly Hills City Councilman Willie Brien, Beverly Hills Convention and Visitors Bureau CEO Julie Wagner, former mayor and BHCVB Board Member Linda Briskman of LJB Consultin, Bill Wiley of Two Rodeo Drive and Board Member BHCVB  met with Chinese attaches over dinner at Bouchon in Beverly Hills Saturday night in anticipation of tonight’s “Celebrate the Sheep: Chinese New Year” event at the Saban Theatre.

Mr. Dong Junxin, Vice President & Secretary General of China International Culture Association (CICA), Mr. Chi Runlin, Consular for China International Culture Association (CICA), Madame Wang Hui, Secretary General of the Beijing Association For Cultural Exchanges (BACE), BHCVB CEO Julie Wagner, Linda Briskman of LBJ Consulting and member of BHCVB Board of Directors were also among the guests.

Tonight’s event begins at 6 with a VIP reception. The Beijing Performance & Arts Group will perform acrobatics, musical selections, and Peking Opera performances, and selected art will be displayed in the lobby from the Beijing Foreign Cultural Exchanges Center. 

The event is a production o the Beverly Hills Conference and Visitors Bureau in partnership with China International Culture Association and with the support of the Chinese Consulate of Los Angeles.
