Monday morning walkers may want to put their best feet forward! Walk with the Mayor is going to be the subject of Walk City, a public programming television show about walkable cities in the U.S.
Walkers know – Beverly Hills is one of the best places to walk ever!
This week, the walk will visit three great locations: Wally’s Vinoteca, Via Alloro Restaurant and the Avalon Hotel.
Wally’s Vinoteca is a wonderful wine and spirits shop – that hosts an extensive menu of wine-and-cheese specialties that are very popular for dining after-show at the Wallis. The lunch hour is packed with people enjoying the communal tables with delicacies from around the world. Yum!
That should wet appetites for Via Alloro, Giacomino Drago’s pride. The renowned Beverly Hills staple has been serving Italian delicacies from the Drago family for twenty years. Today it is one of the most beloved in Beverly hills.
The Avalon Hotel in Beverly Hills is chic and luxurious, one of the City’s finest boutique hostelries. With dramatic views of the pool terrace and private cabanas, it is also the home Oliverio restaurant.
Monday, be there!
Walk with the Mayor is open to all. It is a feature of Mayor Lili Bosse’s “Healthy City” initiative, encouraging everyone to incorporate exercise as a regular part of a healthy lifestyle, fostering relationships between businesses and potential customers, and giving stakeholders’ easy access to the City’s mayor, Lili Bosse in a casual environment.
Walkers meet at the Crescent steps of City Hall every Monday at 8:30. The last walk will be March 23; Vice Mayor Julian Gold will be installed as mayor March 24.
