Taylor Swift Cleans Up At MTV Video Music Awards

Pop stars Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar were the top stars at tonight’s 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, held at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles.

Swift grabbed five awards, including video of the year for the song “Bad Blood” — which she performed in conjunction with Lamar — and best female video and best pop video for the tune “Blank Space.”

Lamar also took home five awards. Four were in conjunction with other artists, among them three collaborations with  Swift for “Bad Blood.” He also won best direction honors for “Alright.”

Miley Cyrus hosted the ceremony. Singer Justin Bieber was among the stars who performed, as were Nick Jonas, Pharrell Williams, Demi Lovato and Macklemore & Lewis.
