Today’s featured adoptable pets are exceptionally cute. Please consider adopting London and Lucas to be your furrever friends!

London (ID#A1605289) is a cute combination of Papillon and Chihuahua who is destined to become a wonderful companion to someone.

Chihuahuas are fiercely loyal and quite dignified little critters, known for their fiercely loyal behavior. They love to burrow deep into the covers and snuggle their owners. There is evidence the breed or its successor breed has been in Mexico as early as 100 AD.

The Papillon is spaniel-type, and the oldest of the toy spaniels. Intelligent and self-assured, the dog is sociable and easily learns new tricks. They are playful and affectionate, and known for their exceptional quality as companion dogs. They first appear in portraits with royalty, in 1542 the Venus of Urbino  by Tiziano Vicelli. Marie Antionette is said to have had a Papillon.

That would make London a superb companion!

Lucas, ID#A1609101, is a beautiful black domestic shorthair. He is a neutered male, with the age unknown. He has big, wise golden eyes and a smooth black coat.

These, and many other pets who deserve homes, are available at the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter located at 11361 West Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90064. Call them at 888-452-7381 or visit their website at www.laanimalservices.com to see all their lovely pets waiting for you!
