Everyone is invited to participate in National Night Out Tuesday, Aug. 2 at 6 p.m. on Rexford Drive, as Beverly Hills joins cities across the country to showcase safety professionals.

The evening promises to be full of fun with a little bit of something for everyone. The Beverly Hills Fire Department, Police Department, Public Library and Office of Emergency Management will be on display for the community.

For Beverly Hills residents this is a special opportunity to meet the City’s new Police Chief Sandra Spagnoli. Spagnoli joined the department earlier this year, and if you have not met her, now is your chance! Bring the kids and take photos.

The police department will have K9 and SWAT demonstrations, there will be fun activities for kids with the library and Community Services department, and tons of information on crime prevention, fire safety, health, disaster preparedness and more.

Kids will have a chance to see police and fire demonstrations up close, and the kids favorite Quake Cottage is sure to be a hit.

Come, get informed and meet your community professionals.

Dinner delights will be courtesy of food trucks and everyone is expected to have a great time! Free parking is in the Rexford and Crescent public parking structures, so come and have fun.
