This year’s Teen Advisory Committee (TAC) was introduced to the Recreation and Parks Commissioners at their meeting Tuesday. TAC encourages Beverly Hills students, grades 6-10 who are residents or enrolled in the Beverly Hills Unified School District, to take an active role in local government. TAC members meet monthly to share experiences, suggest solutions, work with City officials, and put on special events for their peers. Members enjoyed the afternoon touring the 46,054 square foot historic Doheny Greystone mansion along with viewing captivating historical photos that shared the Doheny family’s life before and during their years at the estate. Zale Richard and Brenda are local artists. Zale Richard is a former Beverly Hills Architectural Commissioner and Brenda formerly served on the Fine Arts Commission.
