BHUSD Shores Up Its Leadership Team

Just minutes before a divided Board of Education voted 3-2 on Tuesday to approve a $67.9 million 2017-18 budget for the Beverly Hills Unified School District, members expressed concern about Superintendent Michael Bregy’s decision to offer the district’s chief administrative officer a $40,000 raise in the face of the district’s looming budget deficit. The budget calls for a reduction of staffing by $5 million for next year.
