The Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce presents An Evening with the Mayor at Greystone Mansion from 5-7 p.m. Sept. 27, with Mayor Lili Bosse delivering the State of the City address.

The event will be located in the mansion’s formal gardens, and feature hors d’oeuvres and beverages, as well as live entertainment.

Each year, the mayor addresses the public with an overview of the City’s financial condition, business health, capital improvements and broader initiatives, as well as a report on each mayor’s initiatives. The annual State of the City address comes exactly midway through the one-year mayoral term, and provides an update on the progress that has been made and a roadmap for the next six months until the term is completed.

Mayor Bosse’s Healthy City (#BHHealthyCity) initiative has been extremely popular, and has reached deep into the business community to create the success of her BOLD (Businesses Open Later Days) initiative.

During her term as mayor, hundreds of friends, business owners, visitors and residents have joined her to walk many miles in her Walk with the Mayor campaign. She also led a bicycle tour through the City and hosted a yoga event with Acro Yoga at Beverly Canon Gardens.

Earlier this year, Bosse co-hosted a public meditation event with Dr. Deepak Chopra, which was attended by a crowd estimated at over 1,000. Her partnership with artist Ed Massey and Portraits of Hope has brought thousands of visitors to see the spectacle during the month of August in the Lily Pond.

BOLD has proven to be wildly successful in a limited launch that truly elevated the buzz and excitement in the business triangle, bringing in shoppers after 6 p.m. when stores are traditionally closed. The infusion of excitement anticipates the October grand opening of the Westfield Century City mall, as well as competition from The Grove and the Beverly Center, currently under construction.

The results brought a clamor from businesses supporting the BOLD initiative during the upcoming holiday season, an expansion in holiday lighting, the café seating on Rodeo Drive and a renewed commitment to keep feeding the buzz to retain Beverly Hills’ status as a destination shopping location.

In short, Bosse has shown she will go to any lengths to promote a healthy City, healthy people and a healthy business environment in the City of Beverly Hills. “Mayor Bosse’s momentum will almost certainly guarantee a sold-out event,” said Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Todd Johnson, adding that the Mayor, “hit the ground running with her term and rolled out the BOLD initiative shortly after taking office. She has accomplished something that the business community has been hungry for, for a long time.”

All are welcome; tickets are $50 for members and residents, $60 for non-members. To purchase tickets, visit or call 310-248-1000.
