“Now let’s all just listen,” instructed Darrow Feldstein last Friday morning as a half-dozen ladies held pairs of powerful binoculars to their eyes searching for the spotted towhee that had just called out on the grounds of the Virginia Robinson Gardens and was now hiding in a large oak tree.
