BOLD (#BOLDHolidays) is part of Mayor Lili Bosse’s Beverly Hills Healthy City (#BHHealthyCity) Initiative, to make Beverly Hills the world’s healthiest city. BOLD is an acronym for Business Open Later Days, and that means shoppers will have two extra hours to enjoy their holiday shopping in Beverly Hills this season, and tons of fun for the holidays you won’t want to miss!

The BOLD holiday lighting spectacular kicked off the season Thursday evening, illuminating Beverly Hills from Rodeo Drive to La Cienega Boulevard, to the sounds of Robin Thicke in a spectacular performance held right in the middle of Rodeo Drive.

But BOLD is much more than that!

Live entertainment will continue throughout the holidays, with Social Media Influencers and a live DJ every Saturday evening through Dec. 23. In fact, there will be plenty of live events, food trucks, and a host of activities to entertain shoppers and their friends.

This Sunday, Mayor Bosse will host Dr. Deepak Chopra for A Gift of Meditation at the Beverly Canon Gardens at 5 p.m. The public is invited to join Dr. Chopra as he leads the community on a guided meditation with Mayor Bosse for a spectacular beginning way to keep holiday stress to a minimum. Bring a meditation cushion and wear appropriate clothing, as it is evening and outdoors.

Then, Dec. 2, enjoy a Mayor’s Art Walk with Mayor Bosse for a sensational BOLD seasonal event. This walk will tour the many world class art galleries located throughout Beverly Hills, while enjoying the interactive holiday lighting exhibits throughout the golden triangle. The tour begins at 5 p.m. on the Crescent side of City Hall.

Not yet in the mood? How about an old-fashioned holiday concert, with children’s voices raised in the age-old songs that we all love? Yup. That, too. Join The Friends of Beverly Gardens Park Dec. 10 as they host the Beverly Hills High School Madrigals, the BHUSD Middle School Choir, and the BHUSD 4th and 5th grade Honors Choir 1-2:30 p.m. at the Lily Pond. The special guest will be Santa Clause – so bring your list, and be ready to prove you were naughty or nice. Refreshments will be served at this beloved holiday event.

P.S. – A holiday bonus: Go to the BOLD website  for tons of great deals on holiday dining in Beverly Hills and other goodies from local retailers! New deals and new activities will be added weekly, so keep checking back!
