Art, gifts, experiences and more will be up for bid at All Saints’ second annual “Auction for Action” from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 3 in the church’s Rectory, 506 N. Camden Dr.
The evening will begin with a cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres followed by a silent auction and raffle.
Proceeds will benefit All Saints’ outreach, including the LGBT Youth Brunches at the Los Angeles LGBT Center in Santa Monica, serving homeless youth, and the church’s weekly Monday Meal for the homeless, serving 5,000 meals annually.
“These are two examples of work we’re especially proud of,” says parishioner Jim Keagy, “Auction for Action” chair. “A lot of work goes into these efforts on a regular basis.”
The 140 auction items will include gift baskets from local merchants, hotel stays, LA Opera and LA Phil tickets, luxury car rentals jewelry and purses. “There will be a lot of holiday shopping bargains,” said Keagy.
The 50 artworks in the sale will include pieces by Keagy, a former investment banker, now artist.
“This is a festive event with fun people, good food, great things to buy and a great way to get a taste of what All Saints is all about,” says Keagy.
Individual tickets also include a raffle ticket for a prize of 160,000 Delta Award Miles. Additional raffle tickets are $100 for five. (Must be present to win.)
Tickets are $50, $250 for six, and available online at
