Friends of Beverly Gardens Park (FOBGP) Co-Chair Deborah Frank, FOBGP Co-Chair Annette Saleh, Cheryl Saban, Beverly Hills Mayor Lili Bosse and FOBGP Co-Chair Franny Rennie were at the Peninsula Beverly Hills Wednesday, to raise funds for the restoration of the historic parks. A portion of the sale of every Cheryl Saban Design, including beautiful handblown glass and jewelry, benefitted Beverly Gardens Park.
Beverly Hills Councilmember Robert Wunderlich, Vice Mayor Julian Gold, Mayor Lili Bosse and Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Todd Johnson were joined by scores of walkers for a Small Business Saturday Walk with the Mayor last weekend. The national event promotes shopping local to support businesses in the communities that they serve. The Mayor’s walk visited several local businesses, including Café Gratitude, Le Mervetty, Nate‘n Al, Pussy and Pooch Lifestyle Center, Edelweiss Chocolates and Alfred Coffee, representing some of the City’s oldest businesses (Nate‘n Al and Edelweiss Chocolates) and some of the newest (Alfred Coffee and Café Gratitude).
