City, BHUSD Poised To Enter Into Three Year, $10.5 Million JPA

The Board of Education is poised to vote on a new $10.5 million Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) between the City of Beverly Hills and the Beverly Hills Unified School District at its upcoming meeting on Monday. The City is expected to vote on the new JPA at its next meeting on Dec. 19.
“I applaud the district negotiating team which included Superintendent Michael Bregy, Asst. Superintendent LaTanya Kirk-Carter Latham, boardmember Howard Goldstein and myself,” said Board of Education President Lisa Korbatov. “We all worked diligently to reach an amicable and fair resolution, one that benefits our students and the community at large.”
