Uber Drive Robbed At Gunpoint Outside Beverly Hills Hotel

An Uber driver was robbed at gunpoint Thursday evening near the Beverly Hills hotel.

The robbery was reported at 9:35 p.m. in the area of Sunset Boulevard and Crescent Drive, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.

The driver was sitting in his car when a pedestrian approached and pulled out a gun, police said.

The suspect fled the area on foot and the driver was not injured, police said. It was not immediately known what the robber took.

The suspect was only described as a male in a hoodie, according to police.

The robbery was not related to the hotel, police said.
