The Municipal League of Beverly Hills to Hold Annual Meeting Wednesday

The public is welcome for the annual Town Hall and General Membership Meeting of the Municipal League of Beverly Hills at the Peninsula Hotel Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. Guests will include Beverly Hills Mayor Julian Gold and Beverly Hills Police Chief Sandra Spagnoli.

Mayor Gold will discuss his initiatives in a short “State of the City” address. He will talk about his “Strategic Visioning” process and the future of Beverly Hills retail. He will discuss¬†changes in the dimension of retail and the expectations of the retail customer today and in the future, and how it that is tied to the future of Beverly Hills. He will also address current building standards for height and density.

The discussion will include recent enhancements to public safety programs for police and fire. 

Chief Sandra Spagnoli will update the public on the state of policing in Beverly Hills and the programs and services to keep the City safe.

League members will also elect their Board of Governors.

Light refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public and discount valet parking is available.
