Posted Tuesday, August 28, 1:14 p.m.

Every week, the Courier brings you a few selected pets for you consideration for adoption or fostering from the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter, located at 11361 West Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90064. There are hundreds of animals available at the county’s animal shelters and animal rescue services that need our help. Please consider adoption first. The West LA Animal Shelter can be reached at 888-452-7381; ask for the animal by ID number.

If you are not yet ready to adopt, or cannot take a pet home, consider volunteering at the shelter or becoming one of the many hundreds of foster families who save the animals from the stress of the shelter while awaiting adoption.
