Beverly Hills News – BHFD to Host 17th 9/11 Memorial at Fire Station

The Beverly Hills Fire Department will host two public 9/11 Memorials on Tuesday in front of Fire Station No. 1, located at 445 N. Rexford Drive.

A solemn commemoration with a moment of silence and the traditional ringing of the bell will begin promptly at 6:45 a.m., concluding promptly at 7:02 a.m.

At 5:30 p.m. there will be an evening ceremony with a traditional Laying of the Wreath, Honor Guard, Ringing of the Bell and a musical tribute, performed by City Clerk Byron Pope, who will be celebrating his retirement next month.

The evening ceremony will conclude at 6 p.m.

Parking is available in the City lot adjacent to the library.
