Beverly Hills’ newest hotel offering – the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills – was one of a half dozen Beverly Hills hotels to be named a 2018 Five-Star Award Winner by Forbes Travel Guide on Tuesday.
The Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills celebrated its grand opening last June and was one of only 27 new Five-Star hotels to appear on the 60th annual list of the world’s top hotels, restaurant’s and spas.
Joining Beverly Hills as local Five-Star hotels were The Beverly Hills Hotel, The Peninsula Beverly Hills, Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills, The Montage Beverly Hills and the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.
The Spa Montage Beverly Hills and the Beverly Wilshire’s spa each received Five-Star ratings in the spa category.
Among Beverly Hills restaurants, Jean-Georges Beverly Hills (Waldorf Astoria), The Belvedere (The Peninsula) and CUT Beverly Hills (The Beverly Wilshire) each received Four-Star ratings.
Other local establishments earning top honors included the Hotel Bel-Air, which was named a Five-Star winner.
