BHPD Chases, Catches Fleeing Motorist

Beverly Hills police today chased a motorist from Beverly Hills to to the end of the road in Venice, an officer said.

The suspect was arrested about 12:30 p.m. near Ocean Front Walk and Westminster Avenue, said Los Angeles police officer Larry Park of the Media Relations Section.

Park said the chase began in Beverly Hills about noon.

A police sergeant at the Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed that the pursuit did start in Beverly Hills, but would comment any further.
