Have you ever wondered how French women, despite being surrounded by all that lovely wine, cheese and bread, always look so svelte and chic? Mirelle Guiliano knows the secret and she’s dishing in her latest installation in French Women Don’t Get Fat series, French Women Don’t Get Fat Cookbook.

Find recipes for salads, pastas, fish, vegetables, soups, desserts and more in the handy guide broken down by meals –breakfast and brunch, lunch and dinner–and infused with Guiliano’s witticisms and helpful advice on just how to live like a true French woman.

Her message is simple: stop and smell the roses!

“So many women go through life suffering because of their connection with food,” said Giuliano. “Go into the kitchen and cook real food. You’ll see the difference it makes when your family discovers real food and what it is.”

The cookbook combines traditional French recipes with cultural dishes of both Italy and America as well.

“Today, everybody is international,” said Giuliano. “You will find spices from Morocco, curries, cumin... I love to incorporate those into my cooking.”

Giuliano also covers topics such as men, women and children’s health, and the importance of getting kids started on the right track.
Bon apetit!
