Updated: Tuesday, March 14, 2017 – 7:47 PM

As vote-by-mail ballots continue being counted, the L.A. County Registrar-Recorder on Tuesday afternoon released a new election tally in the race for three seats on the Beverly Hills City Council.

City Clerk Byron Pope said late Tuesday that the “The County feels pretty confident that most, if not all, of our City’s vote-by-mail ballots have been processed and tabulated. Whatever might be remaining for Beverly Hills would be unprocessed provisional ballots, and the County will begin prepping them Wednesday and Thursday to count on Friday.”

Here is how the results stand after Tuesday afternoon’s update:

John Mirisch – 2,053
Les Friedman – 1,871
Robert Wunderlich – 1,862
Nancy Krasne – 1,817
Eliot Finkel – 1,570
Vera Markowitz – 1,080
Frances Bilak – 1,006
Jim Wayne – 219

The next election update from L.A. County is scheduled for Friday, March 17.
