After a brief chase, Beverly Hills Police on Thursday night arrested a residential burglary suspect who had broken into a home in the 600 block of Foothill Road.
Frederick William Leidenfrost, 29, was arrested on a charge of residential burglary after officers responded at around 6:55 p.m. to a call referencing noises heard inside the home by the housekeeper.
When BHPD units arrived, they observed two suspects running from the home. After a short foot pursuit, where the suspects discarded their stolen property, Leidenfrost was caught and arrested.
The second suspect was not located, and BHPD Sgt. Max Subin said a dark-colored SUV was seen speeding away from the location which was also not found.
Leidenfrost, who is from Wildomar, had his bail set at $50,000.
