Perhaps the most magical moment at this year’s United States Holocaust Memorial Museum L.A. dinner “What You Do Matters,” last Thursday at The Beverly Hilton, was the minutes-long standing-ovation that Holocaust survivor Max Webb received to mark his 100th birthday. The local philanthropist survived 18 Nazi camps during the Holocaust and is a living reminder of the fact that within a matter of years, the eyewitness generation to the Holocaust will be completely gone.
