Nerano, celebrating the flavors of the Amalfi Coas and Ladurée, with a taste of France, hosted hundreds of walkers with Mayor Lili Bosse this morning bearing orange hats and tee-shirts on a 3-mile trip that traced the territory from City Hall to City Limits.
Nerano General Manager Nick DiLullo welcomed walkers with coffee and biscotti, sharing the restaurant with many who have yet to sample the southern Italian cuisine. Located at the western end of South Santa Monica, the amazing interior also boasts an upstairs speakeasy! Open for lunch and dinner, reservations are recommended.
Ladurée, located on North Beverly Drive, is an elegant, chic little eatery featuring the finest French patisserie, world famous for their macarons. Open for lunch and formal tea, France has shared General Manager Adrien Malajmare with Beverly Hills, adding to the sense that Paris is just around the corner.
Walkers were joined by Fire Chief Ralph Mundell, Deputy Fire Chief Gregory Barton, Assistant City Manager George Chavez from the City of Beverly Hills and several Beverly Hills Traffic Police.
If you have missed it so far, Walk with the Mayor will continue on Monday at 8:30 a.m. for another adventure with Mayor Bosse, beginning at the Crescent steps of City Hall. Wear comfortable shoes and stay tuned for the next destination!
