Get your walking shoes on and get ready to blast off with Beverly Hills Mayor Lili Bosse for the first Walk With The Mayor Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. on the Crescent steps of City Hall, visiting the new Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
Bosse was sworn in as the new Mayor of Beverly Hills last Tuesday at a ceremony at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
She’s back, and with her comes all the energy and warmth she can bring to the City as an ambassador of good health! Hundreds of friends who joined Mayor Bosse when she was mayor in 2014 can attest to the great experience, walking and talking to the City’s mayor.
As before, Bosse will lead the group on walks to visit historic landmarks, businesses, schools and iconic locations, beginning with what is sure to become another one of the City’s local treasures. This sneak peak of the building will give walkers the opportunity to discover what the Waldorf Astoria will have to offer.
In addition, Bosse will be launching a new program as part of her Healthy City initiative in partnership with alternative health leader Deepak Chopra, M.D. This program will include interactive access to a special app designed especially for #BHHealthy City participants so they can track their inner health and access the spiritual leaders on Chopra’s team.
Walk With The Mayor is part of the overall Healthy City Initiative that includes a physical health, spiritual health and the overall health of the City and its businesses.
Walking also has the side benefit of being a great way to get out and meet your neighbors and know your community, in addition to the great benefits of walking for health.
Walks will take place every Monday at 8:30 a.m. meeting on the Crescent steps of City Hall.
