Less than three months after Superintendent Michael Bregy presented his “Future Focused” schools plan to the Board of Education and announced the formation of a new committee, on Tuesday he provided the school board with a look into just what has been done thus far to streamline education at Beverly Hills Unified.
“In many ways, it’s five different school districts in one school district,” he said, noting that each of the four K-8 schools in the district is divided between the middle school and the elementary. “It’s like we’re running nine schools.”
