Beyonce Wins Big At BET Awards

New mother of twins Beyonce was the big winner at last night’s presentation of the annual BET Awards, taking home five trophies, while her sister Solange also won an award.

Beyonce won or shared the top spot in the Best Female R&B, Viewer’s Choice, Video Of The Year, Video Director of the Year and Album of the Year categories, while Solange won the Centric Award at the ceremony staged at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles.

Chance The Rapper grabbed three awards: Best New Artist, Best Collaboration (tie with Migos) and the Humanitarian Award. Bruno Mars — who shared the Video of the Year with Beyonce and was chosen Best Male R&B/Pop Artist — won two awards, as did Migos: Best Group and the Best Collaboration honors shared with Chance The Rapper.
