Beverly Hills Unified School District took its years-long fight against the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in Pasadena last Friday in its latest effort to have the Westside subway extension not run beneath Beverly Hills High School classrooms.
“There are far more direct alignments to the Constellation Station,” BHUSD attorney Jennifer S. Recine, with Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP, reminded the panel of three judges in her opening arguments.
