At 6:30 p.m., supporters of the California End of Life Option Act will celebrate the passage of the law. Assembly members Christina Garcia, D- Bell Gardens, and Richard Bloom, D-Santa Monica, are among those expected to attend, along with Elizabeth Wallner, a single mother living with Stage 4 colon cancer and wants the option of medical aid in dying if her suffering becomes unbearable, and Wolf Breiman, who is dying of multiple myeloma.
