Photo Independent Kicks Off “Trade Day” with International Photography Exhibit

Photo Independent will kick off their inaugural event with a “Trade Day.” On Friday, April 25 from 1pm-5pm, design industry professionals are invited to attend the show and programming free of charge with valid I.D. and business credentials. The Trade Day will offer designers, architects, home décor and style experts an opportunity to view and purchase from forty national and international photographers that have been vetted to participate in the show including noted photographers Philipp Scholz Rittermann (U.S.), Robert Tamara (The Netherlands), and Ian Provest (Australia), among others. The Trade Day also allows guests a “first-look” at a curated special exhibit of works by Andy Summers, guitarist for The Police. “Mysterious Barricades” will feature a series of black and white photographs culled from many cities Summers has photographed over the past several years, from Tanzania to China.
