Last Thursday’s meeting on the Westside Purple Line Extension Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) left many frustrated with the draconian two-minute per person public comment periods, the prohibition on asking questions and the intentional use of bureaucracy to render public comment ineffectual.
The Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) produced the SEIS in response to a Motion for Summary Judgment and Ruling in Regards to Remedies of the United States District Court for the Central District of California in Beverly Hills Unified School District v. Federal Transit Administration, et al.
