Re:BHPO complaint In Sept. I sent a letter and check from BH to another business address right here in BH. It had a return address. It was never received and It was never returned to me. I didn't complain at that time because I thought it just happened that one time to me! Unfortunately, I've read about all the problems the USPO is having with other customers that are even more ridiculous than my issue. The worse part of it (besides having to apologize for the check not being received) was the thank you note that was the biggest most important part of the mail (which of course was never read by the person for whom it was intended). I'm embarrassed and dismayed and after reading about the problems of the BHPO I felt I needed to voice my concerns. There have been other situations (like a returned mail card that took 3 months to get back) & mail that was to be held that was delivered instead. Just yesterday, I happened to be in charge of checking my out of town neighbor's house for vacation HOLD mail. Much to my chagrin, the neighbor received 10 brochures/magazines and 13 pieces of mail including a check. What good is putting a STOP mail for any reason, if it doesn't work the way it should? I believe it has to do with the one day that our wonderful mailman was off. This is not acceptable business practices for a tiny city of 6 sq. miles!
