All Saints’ Sets Vigil For Victims Of Gun Violence

All Saints’ Episcopal Church will hold a vigil to remember and mourn victims of gun violence, Thursday, Dec.14 at the church, 504 N Camden Dr., Beverly Hills.

At 9:30 a.m., church bells will ring 26 times to honor the lives lost in the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting. At 6:30 p.m., a short interfaith prayer service will held at All Saints,’ with a candle light vigil to follow in the courtyard and church gardens on the corner of N. Camden Drive and Santa Monica Boulevard.

Dec.14, 2017 marks the five year anniversary of the tragic Newtown, Conn. shooting when a gunman killed 26 people, including 20 young children at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Since that day, 500,000 Americans have been killed or injured by guns.

The vigil will coincide with #EndGunViolence vigils being held across the country in December, beginning with the Dec 6 national memorial service at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
