On Tuesday, the Board of Education briefly discussed the Aug. 29 letter from the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE), where it approved the school district’s $65 million budget for 2017-18 with conditions.
The letter, which was addressed to Board President Mel Spitz and signed by LACOE Business Advisory Services Director Keith D. Crafton, cautioned that there were multiple elements of concern.
