The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is set to hold its 14th annual NAMI Walks Los Angeles on Saturday, Oct. 7.
Jennifer Schickedanz, a NAMI mother who lost her 21-year-old son Jim earlier this year to suicide, underscored how transformative the Alliance’s support groups can be to families suffering due to a loved one’s mental health issue.
