Beverly Hills celebrated its ninth annual Woofstock 90210 Sunday and the weather, which had been threatening rain, couldn’t have been better.
Cool and clear, it was a perfect fall day at Roxbury Park, and approximately 3,500 people and their pets came out to enjoy it.
An adoption extravaganza was planned with the help of the Amanda Foundation and the Pet Care Foundation, bringing over 90 animals to the park for re-homing; 32 dogs found their “furrever” home Sunday.
“Woofstock is a great event for people who have dogs and for people who are looking to adopt a dog,” said Bill Crowe, executive director of Pet Care Foundation. “This event is fun for the whole family. Thanks to everyone at the City for making rescues an integral part of the event.”
