Several weeks back, The Beverly Hills Courier featured Star (pictured) as the Shelter Hope Pet Shop Dog of The Week. The tiny Yorkie/Chi mix pup caught the eye of another star – entertainer and longtime Thalians Chairwoman of the Board Ruta Lee. After bringing the new little one into her home to meet the rest of her growing animal kingdom, Lee fell in love with her new sweet canine girl, but decided there was room for only one star in the house. So, she and her husband Webb Lowe renamed the little pooch Mousie, and they are all living happily ever after! Those interested in adopting a rescue dog of their own can contact ShelterHopePetShop.org at 805-379-3538.
