Nothing says “love” like a sweetheart of a pet! Consider adopting one of these loving animals, and making two hearts beat as one! Can’t adopt? Perhaps you might try fostering a pet through the LA Animal Services or volunteering at your local animal shelter. You can also donate to the shelter, or donate a pet bed.
The Carson Animal Shelter is a high-kill shelter, and is usually filled to the capacity. By asking for a temperament test there, you can save an abandoned animal from being euthanized prematurely. Take a pet home to foster and you are giving them a life-sustaining bridge to adoption and a second chance. Do your heart good this Valentine’s Day.
